NOTE: All of the tracks done under the NEW FORMAT for the SAFER Barrier Project are distinguished by having an "_SBP" extension on the end of the track name. This way you will know that all the tracks with this extentsion are multiplayer compatible. If for some reason, you have compatibility issues, either the track you downloaded, or the track located on the server you're trying to connect to is not a genuine SAFER Barrier Project track.

************************************

[1] IMPORTANT -- BEFORE YOU INSTALL!!!
====================================

Because this track is more than a cosmetic update, and Sandbox was used in order to add new textures and 3d shapes, this track is not multiplayer compatible with the original Papyrus tracks. This track is, however multiplayer compatible with exact copies of itself. YOUR SERVER MUST BE HOSTING THIS EXACT TRACK <'homestead_SBP'> IN ORDER FOR YOU TO USE IT IN ONLINE PLAY.

[2] HOW TO INSTALL THE TRACK
====================================

After downloading the homestead_SBP.exe file from the website, simply run the installer and follow the prompts. The installer will automatically place the track into the NASCAR Racing 2003 Season\tracks directory by default.

[3] FEATURES
====================================
This Homestead-Miami Speedway track update is a collaboration of the original Project Wild Fire release....In keeping with the spirit of what Project WildFire had to offer the community, some of the aspects to their original build are maintained. With those aspects maintained, the track is also presented loosely on the 2008-2009 NASCAR Championship weekend seasons...with that in mind, here is a list of the things that have been updated:

1)SAFER Barriers have been installed on the walls of the turns and on the interior front and backstretch walls with appropriate signage on them. (The way the cars react when hitting the walls have been adjusted from the original PWF build).
2)New custom setups for CUP and CTS physics have been provided.
3)Openings to infield retaining walls have been applied allowing access to infield.
4)A Gatorade Victory Lane has been installed in the appropriate area as well as pit road access to it.
5)Appropriate grass logos have been applied throughout the track as appropriate.
6)ALL NEW Champions Club has been installed in the turn 1 area.
7)ALL NEW scoring pylon as of 2009 has been installed.
8)Billboards and signage have been installed accordingly to reflect appropriate sponsors. As mentioned, some have been maintained.
9)Union 76 logos and signage have been changed over to Sunoco as well as the NASCAR Cup logos to Sprint.
10)Cones have been added to entrance & exit of pit road.
11)Lines have been applied to outline pitboxes.
12)Working Whelen pit entry & exit light system is installed.
13)Many new additional or updated objects have been applied throughout the track to enhance realism, such as all new lighting.
14)Some new cameras have been applied.
15)The way the aircraft (i.e. blimp, helicopters) fly in the air have been editted.

THIS VERSION IS A WORK-IN-PROGRESS. OTHER UPDATES WILL BE MADE WHEN THE APPROPRIATE TIME COMES.

[4] KNOWN ISSUES
====================================

Users on lower-end video cards or processors may experience a hit in frame rates due to the large amount of textures included in this track.

Multiplayer compatible ONLY with other unmodified copies of "homestead_SBP" (See topic # 1 in this ReadMe).
